In July David delivered the closing plenary presentation at Living Machines 2012 in one of Gaudi's most inspiring buildings, La Pedrera. In his presentation he explained how his bio-inspired research program integrates fluid dynamics & comparative biomechanics to inspire the design of innovative flying robots. A summary of the panel discussion, which included contributions by colleagues Barry Trimmer and Mark Cutkosky (who both gave outstanding lectures), can be found on the timely Robot Companions Blog of conference co-organizer Tony Prescot.
